ELBPHILHARMONIE
CITY OF HAMBURG

Shanghai Expo 2010 showcases Hamburg's extraordinary new landmark designed by Herzog & de Meuron in a new film by Neutral.

The Elbphilharmonie, the highly anticipated new concert hall housed in this unique structure right on the Elbe river is due for completion in 2012. It comprises three concert halls, one hotel, 45 flats and the Plaza, a public square elevated 37 metres above the river, with an amazing 360 degree panoramic view of the city. The acoustically superior concert hall that stands 50 metres above the river provides seating for 2,150 people.

Neutral's evocative approach combines footage of the construction site with 3D animation to exlpore both the spaces inside as well as the impact the building has on its surroundings and the city skyline.

MADONNA

Madonna's initiative, Raising Malawi Academy for Girls, is being supported by Neutral's new animation depicting the project bringing about sustainable, long-lasting change in Malawi.

Neutral produced the film based on architectural designs by Markus Dochantschi of Studio MDA, New York. The project hopes to set new educational and sustainable standards for schools in Malawi and other developing countries in the region. Neutral's film, which includes footage shot on location in Malawi, shows the students of the Academy leading the viewer through a variety of spaces. The film will help to raise funds for the project due for completion in 2012.
